I believe Sony is telling the truth about their sales are up close to 300% but the question is how much are other consols sales up? The XBOX 360 could be up %400 and obviously 360 sales were higer than PS3's to start with. So that would obviously make PS3's sales not that impressive.

Very few games deliver to the hype, as you all know that. My list starts with like a hundred games and by the end of the year I'm lucky if 5 were good.

The XBOX Elite just hasn't been restocked in a long time. I'm not sure if Microsoft is still even making or what. No new shipments in a while, so your not gonna find it anywhere.
Even if it sells pretty well, it's probably not gonna sell as good as XBOX 360 this year and for sure not as good a Wii.
The reason why you see a lot of PS3 everywhere, is because there stock is huge, they've been selling to retailers and nobody has been buying all year. Haven't you seen the NPD? PS3's with an lame 120k consoles are month being sold.
If they sold out all that in one weekend, hell that would be a miracle.
